Set in a maternity ward in 19th Century India, a young nurse’s first night on the job descends into terror as she discovers the truth behind the disappearance of mixed race babies. The film explores the pressure of being mixed race, and the power of the British Empire over Indian mothers and their Anglo-Indian children.

The film received backing from the BFI NETWORK Midlands Film Hub and finished shooting in January 2020 in Lincolnshire.
